Our meditation stands can be used as a base to sit upright with feet on the ground OR as a leg elevation stand (lying on your back with legs on the Stateev), promoting correct spinal posture during your meditation, stillness, and mindfulness practices.
Stateev's Patent Pending design provides 5 degrees of float built into the geometry of the base to allow you to subtly adjust the attitude of your sacrum and pelvic floor while maintaining stability and comfort in a seated position.
Stateev are also designed to be used in a Prone position (lying on a carpet or mat with your legs resting on the stand's top platform). This alleviates core muscular fatigue (from gravity) while allowing your spine and upper body to remain supported and in alignment. The 5 degrees of float allows the top surface to align more effectively with your legs.
The Prone position is an excellent choice for some people. Allowing more focus on meditation while minimizing bodily distractions, In addition, elevating your legs above your heart can provide a variety of health benefits.

The Size 2 Stateev is designed for individuals up to 5' 7" (170cm) tall
It can be used as a bench for Sitting Meditation or in a Prone Position with legs elevated (lying on your back with lower legs resting on the top platform).
5 Degrees of Forward Float designed into the base.
The height of the platform can be lowered by removing the slats under the platform supports.
Top cushion included.

The stand can be used for either Sitting Meditation (sitting on the stand with both feet on the ground) or lying (lying on a carpet or mat with lower legs resting on the top platform).

Like the other sizes, the height is adjustable by adding or removing the cross slates from under the top platform.
